Production
Steel for 68NKHVKTU-VI circle is melted in an open arc furnace by induction method. The first stage of the technological process is rolling the ingot at t° 1100 - 800 °C. After deformation, the circle is cooled. In the first variant it is immersed in water, then cooled in air or in oil. The second method involves cooling with a water shower and dwelling for 4.5 hours. After hot rolling, calibration is used, which is necessary to ensure that the outer diameter of the product is as accurate as possible.
