Production
The alloy is melted in an open electric furnace. There are three main metals - nickel, iron and chromium with additions of titanium and aluminum. The share of nickel is 35-37%, chromium 11,5-13%, titanium accounts for 2,7-3,2%, aluminum 0,9-1,2%, the rest - iron and alloying metals (silicon, manganese). Wire, rounds, bars of 36NKhTU grade belong to heat-resistant section rolled steel.

The alloy is hardened in air or in water at t° up to 1200 °C. The bar is hardened in air at 1050-1150 °C. Hardened steel in the temperature range from 1180 ° C to 850 ° C.

Circle 36NKhTU is produced in lengths of 2-6 meters. Wire lengths can be measured, unmeasured or multiples of measured lengths. Production accuracy is marked with the letters A, B and C, which means high, increased, standard accuracy. Rolled wire can be heat-treated, heat-treated (labeled - T), nagged (subjected to re-rolling, labeled - H).
Use
Production of rollers in ceramic firing furnaces, furnace conveyor mesh, burner parts and thermocouple covers. Heat resistance grade 36NKhTU is especially necessary at working temperatures of 1300 °C. Alloy 36NKhTU is easy to weld, by any means. Electrodes OZL-25 and OZL-35 are used for manual arc welding. 36NKhTU rounds and bars are used for production of shaped products: beams, angles, channels, special profiles for construction works of any level of complexity. In addition, the round is actively used in mechanical engineering, as a billet for the manufacture of axles, pushers, shafts, bushings and other parts of machinery and equipment.
