Heat Treatment
Normalizing, annealing, tempering. Quenching: heating 1460-1480°F for at least 30 minutes, quenching in water. Aging: 900-975°F for at least 8 hours, air cooling. For higher ductility but lower strength: heat treatment in 950-1150°F range.
