Carbon tool steel in DIN system
General Terms
European producers of carbon tool steel are produced in accordance with the DIN EN 17350 guidelines. This standard is also included in the DIN 167 and DIN HDBK 404 guidelines. It provides specifications for the technical delivery of tool carbon steels. It covers unalloyed cold-rolled steels produced by hot-rolling and cold-rolling technology as well as forgings from the steels listed in the table below. The standard complies with DIN EN ISO4957 regulations.
