General Terms
Copper plates are produced by hot rolling technology, and are intended for use in chemical engineering. Their dimensions should correspond to the following values:
- Thickness - from 26 to 150 mm;
- Width - 600 to 2500 mm;
- Length - 600 to 4000 mm.
In this case, the thickness of copper plates must be a whole number (in mm), and the dimensions of the plate in terms of multiples of 50 mm. It may be specifically stated in the work order that the maximum weight of the metal can not be more than 3600 kg for edged copper, and not more than 5900 kg - for unedged. Copper plates with minimum dimensions are only to be supplied trimmed.

Chemical composition and properties
Copper slabs are made of copper of Ml, M2, MZ, M1p, M2p, MZr grades, which must not deviate from the requirements
The main requirements for the quality of the material are:
- The surface of the plates should not have surface contamination;
- Such defects as foams, cracks and bubbles are not allowed;
- Individual defects are allowed, which do not lead the rolled product beyond the boundary thickness deviations;
- Edges must be evenly trimmed and free of any visually noticeable burrs that would cause the rolled product to exceed its standard values.
Delivery of copper plates is performed in unpackaged condition, with fixing by means of wire.
