1.1 Articles of Х20Н80 grade are produced in Ø 0,4-3 mm. Wire section must comply with II and IV size groups according to

2.1 Chemical composition of the alloy shall be in accordance with
2.2 Wire shall be made in soft heat-treated condition.
2.3 Electric resistivity of wire in soft condition is 1,04-1,15 Ohm-mm2/m.
2.4 The difference between the maximum and minimum values of electrical resistance within a single coil within 4%.
2.5 The electrical resistance of 1 m of wire shall be recorded on the quality certificate.
2.6 The surface shall be smooth, even, without cracks, tears, scale and rolls. Scratches, dents to a depth of not more than half of the sum of the maximum diameter deviations are allowed.
The wire shall be made with a dark-coloured oxidized surface, covered with oxides after annealing, or with a light-coloured surface. If not specified in the order, the color of the surface of rolled steel is set by the manufacturer.
2.7 When winding five coils on a rod of appropriate diameter, the nichrome wire shall not break.
