Solder reference

Solder is a fusible alloy used to join metal parts. The melting point of this alloy is lower than that of the equipment being assembled. When cooled, the solder gives a strong connection.

The most commonly used solders are tin-lead - POS. The numbers: 30,40,61, etc. reflect the percentage of tin in the alloy.

Applications for .

When assembling clutches solder PIC connect cable cores, lug ends, metal cable sheaths with lead, aluminum or brass clutches, ground metal sheaths, shields and armor cables according to GOST 1499-70.

- POS30 - soldering of copper, brass, iron, tinplate, zinc and galvanized sheets, boards, flexible hoses and bandage wire of electric motors.

- POS 40 - soldering of copper, brass, iron.

- POS 61 - high tin content decreases melting point, therefore very thin wires can be soldered.

According to specification 48-0220-62-94 solder grade, A contains: zinc - 63%,. tin - 36%. Relevant for soldering cable cores, terminating lugs, connecting the metal cable sheath with brass, lead and aluminum sleeves, grounding, shielding or armoring cables.

POM2 The minimum melting temperature enables soft (low-temperature) brazing.
POS10
Antimony-free. Connecting of electrical contacts of devices, boards, pouring and tinning of inspection plugs of locomotive engines.
POS30 Without antimony used for tinning and soldering. Supplied in ingots, round rods, wire cuttings, in powder form and in tubes filled with flux.
POS40. Without antimony. Soldering and brazing of electrical equipment, galvanized tin parts with sealed seams.
POS61 Without antimony. Soldering and brazing of electrical equipment without overheating, printed circuit boards, precision equipment with sealed joints.
POS61M. Without antimony. Tinning and soldering of minimum thickness (≤ 0.2 mm) copper wire, foil, printed circuit boards of jewelry. Tinning and soldering in crucibles or baths is not carried out.
POS63 Conveyor soldering of PCBs on automated lines by wave soldering with dipping and pull-through.
POS90 Without antimony. Soldering and brazing of inner seams of household and medical equipment.
POSK2-18. Without antimony. Soldering and brazing parts of different alloys or ceramics.
POWSK50-18. Without antimony. Low-temperature soldering of PCBs, ceramic-metal, step soldering of capacitors.
POSSu10-2. Contains antimony. Used in automotive industry.

POSSu18-05 For tinning and soldering of tubes of heat-exchange apparatus, electric lamps. Includes antimony compound, excellent for joining zinc and galvanized parts.
POSSU18-2. Contains antimony. Used in automotive applications.
POSSU25-05. For tinning and soldering of radiators. Includes antimony additive and provides excellent adhesion to zinc and galvanized parts.

POSSU35-2. Contains antimony. Solder lead pipes, abrasive solder.
POSSu4-4 Contains antimony. Used in automotive applications.
POSSu4-6 Contains antimony. Soldering of tinplate, tinning and brazing of rolled and riveted joints of brass and copper sheets, puttying of automobile bodies.
POSSU40-05. Tinplate tinning and soldering, circuit boards, coil and cable products, radiator tubes, galvanized parts, refrigerators. Includes antimony compound, excellent joining of zinc and galvanized parts.
POSSU40-2. Contains antimony. Brazing and soldering of thin sheet metal packaging and refrigerator parts. Very widely used.
POSSU5-1. Contains antimony. Tinning and soldering of heat-resistant parts, tubular radiators.
POSSU50-05 Tinning and brazing of aviation radiators, brazing of kitchen utensils and subsequent tinning with food grade tin. Includes antimony compound, excellent joining of zinc and zinc-plated items.
POSSU61-05 Tinning and soldering of electrical equipment, printed circuit elements, electrical windings, galvanized overheat-sensitive parts. Includes antimony impurity, excellent joining of zinc and galvanized parts.
POSSu8-3. Contains antimony. Burns and solders electrical bulbs.
POSSu95-5 Contains antimony. Electrical equipment, heat-resistant soldering of pipelines.
