General provisions
GOST 493-97 applies to the following varieties of tin-free bronze alloys:
- Containing manganese and aluminum;
- Containing iron and aluminum;
- Containing manganese and iron;
- Additionally containing nickel;
- Lead bronzes;
- Siliceous bronzes.
Arsenic, antimony and zinc can be admissible metallurgical impurities in the alloys under consideration. Their total content in the finished product should not exceed 1.8 ... 2.0%. The alloys may contain traces of bismuth and carbon.
Casting
The main technological method of production of tin bronze alloys is casting in a sand mold. Supplier Evek GmbH offers to buy beryllium bronze bars of domestic and foreign production at an affordable price in a wide range. We provide delivery of products to any point on the continent. Price is optimal.
Application
Beryllium bronze alloys (GOST 493-97) are widely used in the production of antifriction products, which operate in the liquid and vaporous working environments, at temperatures not exceeding 240 ... 260 ° C. In particular, these bronzes are used for production of sanitary fittings, parts of friction units in chemical apparatuses and food industry.
Mechanical properties (temperature 20 ° C)
Tensile strength, MPa - 400...600 (except for lead bronzes for which this parameter is 58...60 MPa);
Relative elongation, % - 10...20 (except for multi-component bronzes, alloyed with antimony, for which this parameter is 2...3%);
Brinell hardness, NV - 650 ... 2500 (for the lead bronze - not more than 250).
