1.3.6 Supply
1.3.6 Wire of diameter 400 µm and 'less shall be wound on spools without knots or loops. The winding shall be tight and uniform across the width of the spool and ensure free winding from the spool. MK type wire with a diameter of up to 500 microns may be wound on spools.
Free height of the spool edge after winding must be not less than 2 mm.The top (end) of the wire must be looped or fixed on the reel board with polyethylene tape with a sticky layer according to
Wire with diameter over 400 microns shall be coiled. Each coil must be tied in three or four places with copper wire in accordance with
Wire in coils should not be twisted into a figure eight.
1.3.7 Sectional Area
1.3.8 Wire cross-section shall be round. Ovality not exceeding the tolerance of the wire diameter shall be allowed.For wire diameter 400 µm and less, ovality shall be provided by manufacturing.
1.3.9 The wire shall not be brittle.
1.3.10 Wire under 200 microns in diameter shall have no kinks.
1.4 Marking
1.4.1 Each reel, coil or bundle of coils shall have a label stating
- name of manufacturer;
- reference designations in technical documentation;
- lot number;
- for wires with diameter up to 400 microns inclusive - nominal diameter and weight of pieces
- weight of a coil or a bundle of coils;
- date of manufacture;
- technical control stamp.
- the name of the manufacturer;
- batch number
- reference designation in the technical documentation;
- number of spools or coils and the total length or weight of wire
- date of manufacture;
- technical control stamp.
