Properties and application

Structural alloy steels 35KhGS and 35hgs, which contain a high percentage of chromium, manganese and silicon, are used to manufacture high-strength fasteners that are resistant to elevated temperatures of 150...2000°C. Brake and friction discs, flat machine parts and other structures subjected to further hardening heat treatment are also made of these steels. Machining of blanks is limited, stamping is carried out by preheating the blanks.
