In the CIS countries chromium-molybdenum structural steel 30XM is produced according to the technical requirements of GOST 4543. It has the following chemical composition:

The current standard allows for metallurgical impurities in steel - sulfur and phosphorus, but their percentage content should not exceed 0.025...0.030% for each of the elements.
