Properties and application
Steels of 25Х1МФ, 21CrMoV5-7 and 21hmf grades are referred to the group of heat-resistant, relaxation-resistant pearlitic steels and used for manufacture of plane parts operated at elevated to 500-5100 СTypical parts made of the above steel grades are flat springs, parts of measuring equipment for power and steam-power plants, as well as temperature-resistant fasteners. The steels can be quenched, annealed and tempered without embrittlement. Sensitive to the formation of flocs, weldability of steels is limited.
The mechanical characteristics of the steels in question after hardening correspond to the following values:
