Evek GmbH offers to buy rolled sheets - sheets and strips as well as wires made of low-alloy structural steels 14G2, 17Mn4 and P296GH. Supplier provides assortment and assortment of supplied metal at manufacturer's price. Prompt delivery of products to the consumer is carried out.
Chemical composition
In CIS countries steel grade 14G2 is produced in compliance with
Component | C | Si | Mn | Cr | Ni | Cu | As |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Percentage content in steel | 0,12...0,18 | 0,17...0,37 | 1.20...1,60 | Not more than 0.30 | Not higher than 0.30 | .30 not higher than 0.30 | .08 |
The composition of steel 14G2 may contain free and bound nitrogen, the amount of which may not exceed 0.012%. The content of metallurgical impurities is limited in the following limits - for sulfur not more than 0,04%, for phosphorus - not more than 0,035%.
The steel under consideration has some foreign analogues. In particular, steel P296GH is melted according to European standard EN 10028-2, and steel 17Mn4 according to German standard DIN 17135, the composition and properties of which are approximately equal to steel 14G2. P296GH steel is additionally alloyed with some elements, and therefore has the following composition:
Component | C | Si | Mn | Cu, Cr, Ni | Mo | Ti | Vi, Nb | N |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Percentage content in steel, | 0,08...0,20 | Up to 0.40 | 0,90...1,50 | 1.50 Up to 0.30 | 0,08 | 0,03 | 0.02 | Not more than 0.012 |
Buy rolled sheets and wire, which are made of structural steel grades 14G2, 17Mn4 and P296GH, offers the company Evek GmbH. Supplier provides the implementation of products at the manufacturer's price. Timely delivery of sheets, strips, wires to the point specified by the customer is guaranteed.
Properties and application
This steel is designed for use in thick-sheet exterior steel structures, which can operate at negative temperatures down to -700 C. P296GH steel is also used in the manufacture of body parts for water heaters and large vessels operating under overpressure. Steels of this type are limited weldable, and their hot forging and forging must be carried out in the temperature range from 850 to 11500 C.
The main physical and mechanical parameters of the steels are:
- Tensile strength - 450...460 MPa;
- Plasticity limit - 325...335 MPa;
- Endurance limit under alternating loads - 340 MPa;
- Relative elongation at tension - 21%;
- Impact toughness - 30...35 kJ/m2.
