High-alloy heat-resistant austenitic steel based on nickel (not less than 58%) and chrome (up to 31%). Developed by Special Metals. The steel is resistant to high-temperature corrosion at temperatures above 1,100° C. Designed for long term operation in thermal shock and oxidizing environments. Specific weight 7.77 g/cm3.
