Technical characteristics
Stainless heat resistant martensitic steel. The base of the alloy is iron: its share is about 75%. The composition is alloyed with chromium, manganese, molybdenum, vanadium. Specific weight 7.7 g/cm3. The addition of molybdenum and vanadium gives the steel improved resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. A carbon content in the range 0.18 - 0.24% provides greater toughness.
