Technical Characteristics

Indium easily dissolves in acids, most easily in inorganic acids, it is resistant to alkali solutions but reacts with chlorine and bromine and when heated it reacts with sulfur, phosphorus vapors and iodine. The critical temperature of superconductivity is t° 3.4°K. This metal can withstand heat up to 800°C, but at higher temperatures it ignites and forms an oxide.

Usage
