Relevance
Band XH65MV is used to produce parts of chemical equipment, which operates at tº -70 to +500º C in harsh oxidation-reduction environments at enterprises of chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper industries. The alloy from which the strip is made is also known under other, now obsolete names EP567 or 0Х15Н65М16 В.

Properties
Specific gravity of the tape is 8.9 - 10 g/cm³. Such a wide variation in values depends on the proportion of metals that make up the alloy. By strength and hardness the alloy surpasses the common stainless steel grade 12Х18Х9Т with equal plasticity. Temporary tensile strength under normal conditions for CrN65MV strip is 850 MPa, while for 12X18Cr9T alloy it is 530 MPa. It is noteworthy that with increasing temperature the strip strength changes insignificantly, it retains high plasticity and is suitable for argon-arc welding. Tape ХН65МВ is one of the most resistant to corrosion. Some idea of this is given by the description of tests of a sample which is immersed for 48 hours in boiling 30% sulfuric acid with addition of sulfuric acid iron.
Applications
The combination of high corrosion resistance, high plasticity and workability in the range of extreme temperatures cause the widest application of such tape. It is used to manufacture parts and welded tubes for work in particularly aggressive environments at high temperatures. As the tape material is expensive, there is a known method of its use, such as cladding steel materials with the tape. The cladding process consists of hot rolling the strip together with less alloyed steel. In the rolling process the strip is welded to the base material and serves as a protective layer for it. There is evidence of successful application of the alloy KhN65MV in conditions of radioactive irradiation. Tape can be used to make parts operating in sulfuric and hydrochloric acid environments, in concentrated acetic acid, in ammonia, hydrogen, carbon disulfide and ethylene production facilities. In some cases, the operating temperature can reach 1000ºC.
Delivery
CrN65MV strip is supplied in coils of 100 mm width and 0.3 mm thickness. Its cost is quite high because of the expensive nickel, tungsten, molybdenum and chromium in its composition. But its application allows to increase the service life and reliability of chemical equipment. All presented products are certified. The technical documentation includes data on the chemical composition, the limiting percentage of impurities; mechanical properties of products. From us you can buy in bulk any semi-finished products for large-scale production. We also offer optimum conditions for retail buyers. The high level of service and responsiveness of service is the face of our company.
