АУ10Е steel is used: for the production of bars with special surface finish diameter of 1−6 mm, used for the manufacture of parts for watches exposed to the subsequent thermal treatment.

According to TU 14-1-2607-78, TU 14-1-3390-82 the chemical composition is presented for steel grade AU10E. In steel, deviation in selenium content by ± 0.030% is allowed. The introduction into lead steel of up to 0.25% is allowed, with the brand name being changed to ACS10E.

The fracture of steel bars on the other 14-1-2607-78 controlled on the bars with diameter 3.0 mm and above shall be homogeneous and fine-grained. The break should be free of voids, supernote, delaminations, cracks, bubbles and inclusions visible to the naked eye. Decarbonisation on the bars is not allowed. |
