According to TU 14-3-1573-96 carbon equivalent of Se ≤ 0.43%. In the steel of the Cherepovets Metallurgical Combine, the sulfur content is allowed not more than 0.010%, carbon 0.06-0.10%.
According to TU 14-158-146-2004 the chemical composition is given for the ladle sample for the 1st level of the quality of the pipes. For pipes of the 2nd level of quality in the ladle sample, the mass fraction of phosphorus sulfur is ≤ 0.015%.
